On the occasion of the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, 14 years ago, a newly graduated student from the University of Technology Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Dong had the opportunity to learn about the treasure trove of Vietnamese culture and history. Phuong Dong and two friends, To Le Ngoc Linh and Nguyen Anh Vu, who share the same passion for Vietnamese culture, decided to establish Vietnam Centre - a non-governmental, non-profit and independent organization with the mission of promoting Vietnamese culture to the world.

Introducing costumes and royal ceremonies of the early Le Dynasty, exhibiting Vietnamese Tet culture, and introducing the beauty of Vietnamese Mother Goddess culture through Hau Dong rituals are some of the Vietnam Centre’s activities that have impressed Australian audiences over the years.

According to Phuong Dong, the Vietnamese community in Sydney positively welcomes these cultural activities. In particular, many young people born and raised in Australia have always been involved in Vietnam Centre's projects.

Passion for traditional culture and efforts to spread national cultural values have become the choice of many young Vietnamese artists.

Ao dai and conical hats accompanied male singer Trong Hieu in the Eurovision Song Contest in Germany. In his performance of the song “Dare To Be Different”, Trong Hieu was moved when singing the meaningful Vietnamese lyrics.

Vietnamese music, Ao dai, green rice cakes and a trip to explore Vietnam are special gifts that Chi Pu brought to introduce and promote to international friends at the Chinese TV show "Dap Gio 2023". The song she performed also used many traditional musical instruments such as the moon lute, zither, cat flute      and two-string flute.

Vietnamese travel vloggers have had countless interesting experiences in many countries around the world. They always take advantage of the opportunities to introduce their country, trying to connect people with Vietnamese culture.

Hoang Minh Tuan is the owner of million-view videos about his journey with Vietnamese cultural symbols to many different lands in Nepal. The news site Routine of Nepal also reposted one of Tuan's journeys in this country and received many positive comments. Some of this Vlogger's clips have become popular, even used by the people here in their cultural festivals.

Noah Nguyen also impressed viewers with videos introducing Vietnam to international friends. Viewers can see images of children at a school in Niger, a remote African country, being informed about the history and meaning of the Vietnamese flag. According to Noah, Vietnam has many things that foreigners do not know, so he wants to make the most of opportunities to promote his country to the world.

Through experiential trips to promote Vietnamese culture, and beautiful actions to spread the Vietnamese spirit, content creators are contributing to making the image of the country shine with each step in their journey to explore the world, and when they leave, what they receive in return is the love and gratitude of the local people.

In recent times, in addition to large-scale promotional programs abroad, many young people have had creative ways to introduce and honor the image of Vietnam. Stepping out into the world, a cultural passport carrying traditional values is what creates a unique identity, helping many young people succeed. It is from these activities that millions of international audiences understand and love Vietnamese culture more./.
