Vietnam Airlines to open the 101st route

The Hanoi- Macau route will be Vietnam Airlines’ 17th flight to China. It will also be the 62nd international route of the carrier, bringing the total number to 101.

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced to open a new air route connecting Hanoi and Macau (China) on December 15th, 2019.

The carrier will operate one flight per day to meet the travel demand of passengers.

The flights will take off at Hanoi-based Noi Bai International Airport at 19h45 and depart from Macau at 23h50 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Meanwhile, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the flights will depart at the Noi Bai airport at 04h00 and take off in Macau at 08h35.

Korean media praise Vietnam’s performance against UAE

Newspapers of the Republic of Korea (RoK) praised Vietnam’s victory against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the 2022 World Cup’s second qualifying round in Hanoi on November 14th.

According to VNA, the Chosun Ilbo newspaper ran an article titled “Park Hang-seo helps Vietnam defeat UAE 1-0”, commenting on the changes in Vietnam’s line-up for the match.

Sport Seoul and SpoTV News said Vietnam are inching closer to the third round of the qualifiers. If they retain their lead, Vietnam will make history for winning a slot in the World Cup’s third qualifying round for the first time.

Hanoi to facilitate Korean investment projects

At the recent reception for newly-accredited Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Park Noh-wan, chairman of Hanoi City People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said the capital city is ready to create favourable conditions for projects by businesses from the Republic of Korea (RoK).

The newly-accredited Korean Ambassador thanked Hanoi for its support for the construction of schools for Korean children in the city. He also expressed his hope that the city will approve the design of another building within the Korean International School in Hanoi.

Mr. Chung said the city absolutely endorses any recommendations related to the Korean International School in Hanoi, while asking agencies to work together to find the optimal measures to carry out the project as soon as possible./.
