The Forbes Travel Guide identifies itself as the only global independent assessment unit in the hotel business. Only 20% of hotels rated by the organisation are five-star hotels.
The Forbes Travel Guide's five-star ranking is the gold standard in the hotel industry and only honours "superior service, state-of-the-art facilities and impeccable service quality".
Founded back in 1958, the Forbes Travel Guide is the oldest travel handbook in the US and is the first to offer a five-star rating system for the hotel industry.
Hoi An among world’s top Honeymoon Destinations of 2024
The ancient city of Hoi An in the central province of Quang Nam has been named among the world’s top 25 Honeymoon Destinations of 2024 on Tripadvisor 2023 Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Awards.

VNA quoted the saying of Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tripadvisor's rankings are based on reviews from tourists over the past 12 months.
Bali (Indonesia) topped the list thanks to its long beaches with fine white sand and beautiful sceneries. Hoi An was placed second on the list, and it was the only Vietnamese representative to make the list.
Other destinations named were the Maldives, the Republic of Dominica, Mauritius, Khao Lak (Thailand), Santorini (Greece), and Venice (Italy), among others.
These locations are places to enjoy honeymoons with beautiful landscapes and romantic dinners for couples.
The list is within the framework of Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards Best of the Best 2024 to honor destinations with restaurants, hotels, and entertainment activities that receive a number of votes that far exceed visitors' expectations. Less than 1% of the 8 million applications are awarded Best of the Best.

Hoi An was once an important bustling trading port of Southeast Asia from the 15th to 19th centuries. Luxury cruise ship brings over 4,000 visitors to Vietnam
According to VOV, Spectrum of the Seas, one of the world's top ten most luxury cruise ships, docked at Tan Cang-Cai Mep port in the central province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau on February 20, with the vessel carrying 4,485 international travelers on board.

During the course of the trip, the foreign guests were taken to several of the southern city’s most popular tourist attractions, including Ho Phap pagoda, Hoa Long market, Long Dien ancient house, and Cao Dai Temple.
The visitors enjoy going on tours to Ho Chi Minh City and My Tho city in the southern province of Tien Giang.
This marks the second time that the cruise ship has arrived in the province. Earlier on January 4, the cruise ship brought 4,393 foreign tourists to Nha Trang city in southcentral coastal province of Khanh Hoa.
Spectrum of the Seas is the most modern superyacht in the Quantum class of Royal Caribbean International (RCI), which stretches 347 metres long and is nearly 63 metres in height. It was originally built in Germany and was subsequently launched in April, 2019.
The superyacht features more than 2,000 cabins capable of serving more than 5,600 passengers. It is widely considered to be the largest yacht in Asia.
Vietnamese singer to debut for Korean boy band
Dang Hong Hai is set to make his singing debut as one of the members of new K-pop boy band NEWKIES, reported VOV.

Most recently, DongGyo Entertainment Company unveiled on its website the official photo of the band, including the 21-year-old Vietnamese singer hailing from the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre.
Dang Hong Hai first drew attention during the Boys Planet contest at the 2022 Mnet Asian Music Awards. He was later eliminated from the contest in the second qualification round.
In October, 2023, he joined as a trainee at DongGyo Entertainment Company, according to Korean online newspaper News1.
Back in 2022, Vietnamese singer Ngo Ngoc Hung, or Hanbin, debuted as one of the seven members of K-pop group TEMPEST and left a positive impression on the Korean music industry./.
