Hanoi to host Rural Industrial Goods Fair 2023

The fair will display 140 booths of rural industrial production facilities in Hanoi.

The event includes activities such as displaying, promoting and introducing rural industrial products and organizing trade connection at the fair.

The fair offered an opportunity for businesses and rural industrial production facilities to introduce, promote and sell rural industrial products.

At the same time, the fair will help promote connection in production, processing and consumption of high-quality rural industrial goods, forming a sustainable production and consumption chain of rural products and goods.

The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade said that the products displayed at the fair are ones of rural industrial goods production and trading establishments in the city. Products on display must ensure quality, diversity in designs and types, attract and create an impression on visitors and transactions at the fair.

Hanoi is the political, economic, cultural, scientific and technological center of the country, one of the two growth engines, accounting for 16.2% of the country’s GRDP. The northern hub has 1,350 craft villages, of which 308 craft villages are recognized as traditional craft villages, and rural industry has an important position in the structure of the economy.

In recent times, Hanoi has had many solutions to support rural industrial establishments to develop sustainably. In 2022, Hanoi’s industrial promotion programs support 10 rural industrial establishments to invest in advanced and modern machinery and equipment in production; supported more than 450 rural industrial establishments to participate in exhibitions of souvenirs, gifts and handicrafts; support 35 rural industrial establishments to design packaging and register product brands./.
