As a nation committed to achieving a low-carbon future, Norway’s contributions to green technology and sustainability will be on full display at the pavilion, offering visitors deep insight into the future of environmentally responsible business, as well as the role that private sector plays in building a greener economy.
“We are proudly introducing an excellent team of Norwegian companies that are at the forefront of the green economy, leading the way in the industries vital to both economic growth and environmental stewardship: shipbuilding, energy, paint and coating production, fertilizer, and the circular economy. They are Jotun, Vard, Yara, Eagles Technology, Equinor, UMOE Advanced Composites, DNV, and C-Loop,” said Norwegian Ambassador to Vietnam Hilde Solbakken in her opening speech.
The pavilion is a reflection of Norway’s long-standing commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility through their sustainable practices and green solutions. It also tells you how the Norwegian companies have been working closely with the Vietnamese partners to uphold the values of sustainability, making active contributions to Vietnam’s economic growth and transition to a greener future,” she added.
“Norwegian industries have long been recognized for their focus on sustainability, and this commitment is evident across all companies represented here today. They are proving that innovation, economic growth, and environmental stewardship are complementary and, together, can drive the transition to a low-carbon economy,” said Karin Greve-Isdahl, Norwegian Commercial Counsellor and Director of Innovation Norway.
“Be they already active in Vietnam or still exploring this promising market, our companies are committed to contributing to the green economy through advanced solutions and technologies. They will also prove that a greener and sustainable future is not just possible but also profitable,” she said.
The Norwegian Pavilion invites visitors to come and explore interactive exhibits, speak with companies’ representatives, and learn about why Norwegian companies are regarded as pioneers in green technologies, and how they ensure that growth and sustainability can go hand in hand.
