Vietnamese official presented with noble Japanese order

Hoang Binh Quan, former member of the Party Central Committee and former Head of the Party Central Committee Commission on External Relations, was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun by the Japanese Government for his important contributions to strengthening relations and friendship between Vietnam and Japan.

This was recently announced by the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam.

Accordingly, on April 29, the Japanese Government announced the list of individuals awarded the orders in the spring of 2024. Hoang Binh Quan is one of the foreign individuals awarded with the order by the Japanese side.

The Japanese Government said that Hoang Binh Quan, 64 years old, is awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, with gold and silver stars for his great contributions for strengthening relations and close friendship between Vietnam and Japan in recent times.

Born on June 16, 1959, Hoang Binh Quan once held the positions of Member of the Party Central Committee, terms IX, X, XI and XII; Member of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; and National Assembly deputy term IX, XI and XIII.

From July 2009 to March 2021, he was trusted to hold the position of Head of the Vietnamese Communist Party Central Committee Commission for External Affairs./.
