(CPV) - The Trung Vuong Secondary School Library, located in Dai Bai village, Dai Thinh commune, Me Linh district, Hanoi, is dedicated to nurturing a culture of reading among students. This initiative supports students in honing critical thinking skills, fostering independent learning, exploring knowledge, and building strong character and healthy lifestyles, inspiring them to dream big.

Founded in June 2004, Trung Vuong Secondary School has become a leading educational institution in Me Linh district, serving as a model school for secondary education. The school library is well-equipped with book shelves, mats, tables, chairs, computers, lighting, fans, and an extensive collection of books, creating a friendly, comfortable reading environment. It is a space for learning, research and relaxation, and a hub of cultural and scientific engagement that instills and nurtures a love for reading in students.

With over 10,000 books, 10 types of newspapers, magazines, and various engaging activities, the library has achieved the Outstanding Advanced Library title. It has helped generations of students achieve city- and national-level awards, contributing to the school’s receipt of the Third-Class Labor Medal in 2014 and the Second-Class Labor Medal in 2024.

Thanks to its vast resources, the library has become a favorite destination for Trung Vuong Secondary School students, offering a peaceful, friendly environment with thousands of textbooks, reference books and storybooks.
Many students visit the library outside of class hours and extracurricular activities.
Equipped with internet-connected computers, the library allows students to quickly search for and access the resources they need.
The library’s well-organized design not only enriches learning resources but also inspires academic engagement among students and promotes professional growth for teachers.
Nguyen Thanh Thuy, a 9A4 student, shared: "At the library, my friends and I can easily find valuable books that aren’t readily available in bookstores. This is especially helpful as we prepare for our upcoming grade transition exams.”
For sixth graders Hoang Bao Han and Doan Diem Quynh, the library is more than just a place for information; it provides a healthy space for relaxation after classes, helps build life skills, and lets them explore their interests.
According to Ms. Dao Thi Tuyet Hanh, a school librarian, the library not only promotes reading culture within the school but also leads initiatives to spread the value of reading in the community.
The library continually updates its collection to meet the reading needs of students and teachers.
The library encourages a habit of self-study in students.
