Level-2 Field Hospital No. 4 starts practical training

According to Major General Hoang Kim Phung, Director of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations, up to the present time, Vietnam has sent 76 officers and 189 soldiers in teams of Level 2 field hospitals on international missions.

In 2022, the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations will continue to send the 4th team of the Level 2 field hospital on a mission with the staff of 63 comrades, including 10 female soldiers.

The year 2022 also marks a very important step when Vietnam will not only send a Level 2 field hospital, but will also deploy a United Nations Peacekeeping Engineer Team to the UNISFA Mission with a staff of 184 comrades, including 21 female soldiers.

This time, Vietnam deployed the unit formation with the largest number of troops ever. The 1st Engineers Team and the 4th Level 2 Field Hospital were officially launched on November 17, 2021.

Together with the Level 2 Field Hospital, the Engineers Team of Vietnam will contribute to providing humanitarian assistance activities, helping the United Nations Peacekeeping Missions to carry out their tasks, contributing to keep the peace, rebuild the country, bring peaceful and stable life to the local countries.
