The flight was arranged by domestic agencies, the Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE, Bamboo Airways, and relevant authorities of the UAE.

The Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE also sent staff to the airport to assist the citizens.

During the flight, security, safety, and hygiene measures were strictly carried out to ensure the passengers’ health and prevent possible COVID-19 transmission.

All passengers and crew members received health checks right after the plane landed at Can Tho International Airport and were sent to quarantine centres in line with regulations.

Under the Prime Minister’s instructions, additional flights will be conducted to bring more Vietnamese citizens home depending on their needs and quarantine capacity at home./.
