Passengers on the flight included children under 18 years old, the elderly, the sick, pregnant women, students completing their studies and facing accommodation difficulties, stranded tourists and workers with expired visas and labour contracts.

Vietnamese representative agencies took the initiative to coordinate and guide the citizens to complete necessary procedures and asked relevant local authorities to create favourable conditions for Vietnamese citizens to travel to an airport in Paris, France. The Vietnamese Embassy in France sent staff members to support the citizens to complete procedures before boarding the plane.

During the flight, disease preventive measures were strictly carried out to ensure the health of the citizens and prevent the spread of the pandemic.

Right after landing at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, all passengers and crew members were given health checks and entered isolation sites in line with regulations.

Under the Prime Minister’s directions, more flights will be arranged to bring home more Vietnamese citizens, based on their needs and the country’s current quarantine capacity./.
