Overseas Vietnamese in Japan’s Kansai support flood victims in Central region

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee has recently received VND 36 million from the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Kansai and the overseas Vietnamese from Nghe Tinh, presented by Ms. Le Thi Thuong, President of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Japan’s Kansai, to support flood victims in the Central region affected by Typhoon No. 4.

At the ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Thuong said that with the sentiment toward the homeland, many overseas Vietnamese in Kansai and some domestic organizations through the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Kansai have donated to share with people in the Central region when they learned about Typhoon No. 4, which caused great damage and impacts on the lives of people in some central provinces.

On behalf of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Movement Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, thanked and expressed his respect to the hearts of overseas Vietnamese in the Kansai region and some domestic organizations for their support and sharing with people in the Central region.

He affirmed that this meaningful gift will soon be delivered to the right address by the Vietnam Fatherland Front./.
