Vietnamese tourism promoted in Japan’s Osaka

A seminar on introducing potential, connecting and promoting tourism between Vietnam and Japan in 2023 was held in Osaka on July 3.

The seminar aimed to promote connection and cooperation in tourism, trade and promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam in Japan, contributing to further tightening the good relations between the two countries on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

Japan is not only one of the powerhouses in industry and services, but also known for its many attractive tourist destinations that mix between traditional and modern beauty imbued with identity. The food of Japan, especially in Osaka and Kansai, is very diverse, delicious, beautiful and highly appreciated by tourists all over the world.

Vietnam is also considered one of the most worthy tourist destinations in Asia, with the beauty of nature, country, people and unique and attractive street food. Therefore, Japan is increasingly becoming a favorite tourist destination of Vietnamese people, and at the same time, Vietnam is also increasingly loved by Japanese tourists.

Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka, Japan, said that the seminar will be an opportunity for Vietnam - Japan tourism promotion agencies to introduce tourism potentials and exchange, seek information, cooperation programs on tourism of Vietnam and Kansai region.

The Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka affirmed that it will accompany, support and create all favorable conditions for tourism promotion and cooperation programs to bring good results to the parties, thereby contributing to bringing Vietnam - Japan relations to new heights.

Through the seminar, businesses of the two sides will be updated with new information, destinations and products to actively implement tourism plans and programs to connect the two countries.

In the first six months of 2023, Vietnam welcomed more than 5.5 million international tourists, including over 200,000 tourists from Japan./.
