18 athletes from Quang Ninh province attend National Youth Swimming and Diving Championships 2013

(CPV) - The Natioal Youth Swimnming and Diving Championships 2013 takes place from July 17-25 in Da Nang city.

The event has drawn the participation of 23 delegations, of which 17 registered over 200 athletes competing in two contents of swimming and diving to win 264 sets of medals. Particularly, swimming has 196 sets of medals.

The registered delegations are provinces of An Giang, Binh Dinh, Binh Phuoc, Can Tho, the Vietnam People's Police, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Long An, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Tay Ninh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh city, the National Defence Sport Center 4, the National Defence Sport Center 5, Vinh Long and Quang Ninh.

The Quang Ninh delegation has 18 athletes from the Quang Ninh provincial Water Dive, Rescue and Sports Center attending the championships.

The championship is an opportunity for young athletes to help experts choose young talented athletes for the national team./.
