Northern province’s district spends over VND650 billion building new style rural areas

As of June, Hoanh Bo district of the northern province of Quang Ninh has mobilised VND650.282 billion to invest in building new style rural areas.

Of which, enterprises supported over VND4.4 billion, 3 tonnes of cement and other construction materials; armed forces spent 900 working days building rural roads; people volunteered to donate 30,000 square metres of land and thousands of trees and over 9,000 working days to build projects.

In addition, the district invested over VND19 billion to build production models, upgrade over 67 kilometres of rural roads, 15 kilometres of dykes and 10 irrigation works, build 27 cultural houses and 11 schools, and build 6 power systems./.
