Entry fee to Ha Long bay to be raised in 2014

The ninth session of the Quang Ninh People’s Council for the 2011-2016 term has approved a resolution raising the entry fee to Ha Long bay, to have funds for investing, embellishing and preserving the value of the area.

Accordingly, from January 1, 2014, the entry fee will be raised to VND150,000 per person, replacing the current rates of VND80,000-130,000. Destinations invested by the State will have visiting fees of around VND30,000-50,000 for each. Staying overnight on the bay will cost VND200,000, VND350,000 and VND400,000 for one, two and three nights, respectively.

The Quang Ninh People’s Council also agreed to collect an entry fee for Bai Tu Long bay with a maximum rate of VND100,000 each person.

Children and policy beneficiaries will be offered special prices when visiting the two destinations./.
