Quang Ninh province strengthens food safety and hygiene supervision of imported products

This activity is carried out in the border city of Mong Cai and border districts of Hai Ha and Binh Lieu. The department also collects information and opinions of the customs units, border posts, plant quarantine units, animal quarantine units, health care quarantine units at border gates of Mong Cai, Hoanh Mo and Bac Phong Sinh about imported food and food packaging originating from abroad.

Every week, the units in the border districts and city will report information on food arriving from foreign countries in the localities so that the department promptly understands the situation. This work will contribute to improving the efficiency of ensuring food safety and hygiene and protecting the health of people in the border province of Quang Ninh./.
