Quang Ninh reviews implementation of resolution on building studying society

The Quang Ninh provincial Steering Committee for Building Studying Society held a conference to review the implementation of the resolution by the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee on building studying society in the 2010-2015 period and orientations until 2020.

During the three-year implementation of the resolution, Quang Ninh province promulgated documents, organized action plans, provided training courses for cadres from educational sector, inspected and adjusted the implementation of building studying society in localities in the province.

From 2010 to 2013, 10,654 labourers in rural areas participated in training courses.

There are 1,835 study promotion associations in localities with 259,207 members.

All cadres at provincial levels were cultivated to improve their professional skills. 89.9% of labourers in the field of agriculture, forestry and pisciculture approached training courses on improving understandings.

Vice chairwoman of Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee Vu Thi Thu Thuy appreciated efforts in localities in building studying society in the province. She asked all levels and agencies to develop educational establishments; diversify forms of studying; and improve professional skills for cadres; consolidate and develop vocational schools.

On this occasion, the provincial Steering Committee of building Studying Society presented a certificate of merit to organizations and individuals who made great achievements in building studying society in the province./.
