Quang Ninh industrial production value hits VND14 trillion

The Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade has organised a meeting, summarizing industrial and trade activities in the first half of the year and presenting tasks for the rest of the year.
In the fist six months, industrial production value of the province reached VND14 trillion while total commodity retail and service turnover posted VND21 trillion.
The department actively coordinated with relevant agencies to finish investment and construction of the rural power grid, contributing to the target of building new rural areas model. In addition, agricultural expansion encouragement, trade promotion and market stabilisation and management were speeded up and showed effectiveness.
In the rest of the year, the department will aim to speed up the project expanding the power grid to Co To Island district and assist local businesses to remove difficulties./.
