Since the beginning of the year, the northern province of Quang Ninh has created jobs for 10,439 labourers, accounting for 40.2% of the target for the whole year, the provincial Department of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs reported.

Of which the industrial sector attracted the largest number of labourers with 4,800 jobs created, and the agricultural, forestry and fisheries sectors added 1,900 labourers.
Of the labourers, 39 labourers were sent to work abroad, accounting for only 26% of the target for the whole year.
The provincial Department of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs also said the number of trained labourers accounts for 55%.
Over the past six months, the province focused on vocational training for labourers. Through courses, trainees applied new knowledge into production, thus increasing their income.
The province has organized work fairs, attracting thousands of labourers and enterprises, contributing to reducing the number unemployed labourers at localities.
By 2015, the province will strive to train over 18,700 labourers and 8,000 communal officers.
In the upcoming time, job support and job creation will be increased, striving to create jobs for 26,000 labourers by the end of 2013./.
