Transport revenue in Quang Ninh up 16.1 percent

Quang Ninh’s transport revenue posted more than VND749 billion in July, bringing the figure for the first seven months this year to VND5.1 trillion, a year-on-year rise of 16.1 percent, according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.
The volume of commodities carried in July reached nearly 3 million tonnes, higher than the previous month's 2.95 million tonnes. On the whole, the province conveyed more than 20 million tonnes of goods during the Jan-July period, a year-on-year rise of 16.4 percent and over 60 percent of the year’s plan.
In July, nearly 4 million passenger arrivals were conveyed, bringing the total in the first seven months to 28 million, up 17.9 percent against the same period last year and 60 percent of the year’s plan./.
