SSC’s Youth Union presents gifts to poor students in Van Don district

To share with and help poor students have school supplies for the new 2013 – 2014 school year, the youth union of the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC) has presented gifts to poor students at Ha Long 2 primary school in Van Don district, Quang Ninh province.
At the ceremony, the SSC’s youth union presented 120 school bags and school supplies for students at the schools, worth a total of VND30 million. Ha Long 2 primary school includes students from the four poorest villages of Ha Long commune, Van Don district.
The school bags and school supplies that SSC’s youth union presented will be a source of great emotional support for poor students, contributing to reducing difficulties for families with children entering the new school year.
With the motto "Action for social welfare," the young people of SSC have organized many charitable activities, demonstrating the sense of responsibility among the young generation for community life./.
