Online dialogue on Quang Ninh province and young scientists

An online dialogue titled “Quang Ninh province – Young scientific connection” will be held on August 16 by the Quang Ninh provincial Television Station to mark the 50th founding anniversary of the province.

The event will draw the participation of scientists who have made great contributions to provincial development.

Prof. Dr. Tu Diep Cong Thanh, born in 1978, is Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanics, Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology, and vice president of the Vietnam Youth Union in Ho Chi Minh city. He is one of youngest professors in Vietnam at this time. He participated as a consultant in research on educating young people in fishing villages in Ha Long.

MA. Dr. Ngo Manh Quan, born in 1976 in Quang Ninh province, is head of department of blood donation, doctor at the Thalassemia Centre under

National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion. He was one of people who proposed and carried out major blood donation drives in Vietnam.

MA. Phan Hoanh Son, born in 1986 in Ha Long city, is conducting postgraduate research at Leeds University. He is training director of the International Youth Education Organization. He won several international prizes. He is also head of the first study on education for young people in fishing villages set by the Vietnam Record Organization and the Asia Record Organization.

The online dialogue will take place from 10 am to 11 am on August 16./.
