20,000 tourists visit Loi Am pagoda during Tet

The Loi Am pagoda greeted more than 20,000 visitors from February 1-13 (Tet holiday), according to the Dai Yen precinct People’s Committee in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.
Specifically, on February 9, the busiest day of the holiday, the pagoda welcomed nearly 10,000 visitors.
Because tourists must take boats on Yen Lap river on the way to the pagoda, the Dai Yen precinct associated with relevant agencies to ensure security and order of the boats. In addition, the precinct applied best solutions to ensure safety for visitors on pilgrimage to the pagoda.
The Loi Am pagoda festival will officially open on February 26 (January 27 of the lunar calendar)./.
