Ceremony launches technology and equipment information exchange in Vietnam

The exchange will act as an intermediary of the science and technology market that connects supply and demand, commercialises research results, and supports the demonstration and promotion of new technological products.

It is located at 24 Ly Thuong Kiet Street in Hanoi and available online at http://techmartvietnam.vn.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat  said that the formation of a science and technology market is a major consistent policy of the Vietnamese Party and government. The technology exchange will make a substantive contribution to the development of the science and technology market throughout Vietnam.

The minister expressed his expectation that the exchange will become a reliable address for research institutes, universities and other scientific and technological organisations to help tap into the potential research results, especially those funded by the government./.
