The announcement of the launch took place on December 3 at the center’s headquarters in the TMA Binh Dinh Innovation Park, Quy Nhon City, in the south-central province of Binh Dinh, as part of the ceremony to sign a memorandum of understanding on coordinating promotion, attracting investment and business cooperation with specific terms between the Vietnam-Korea Businessmen & Investment Association (VKBIA), TMA Solutions and the VKBIA Group Joint Stock Company.

With the center’s initial 200 engineers, the two sides continue to work towards deploying new technology and high-tech transformation fields, forming Research and Development Centers (R&D) for specific fields, and cooperating to train high-quality human resources to operate new techniques and high-tech for the next stage, adapting production chains and global supply chains.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Tran Hai Linh, member of Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of VKBIA Group, emphasized that the socialist-oriented market economy of Vietnam had to be a modern market economy that can effectively integrate internationally. “To achieve this goal of wealthy people-strong nation-equitable, democratic and civilized society, Vietnam needs to synchronously develop an infrastructure system such as an e-Government application of solving social problems related to finance, transportation, education, and health,” he said, adding that Vietnam needed to proceed with the transfer process and digitalize all government materials to take advantage of opportunities and accelerate breakthroughs in the 4.0 revolution and develop and improve sciences and technologies. “At the same time, considering the training and development of high-quality human resources is essential,” he went on to say.

Meanwhile, Dr. Nguyen Huu Le, Chairman of TMA Solutions, said that the association between TMA Solutions and VKBIA was discussing expanding in Quy Nhon by bringing about 3,000 engineers and software specialists from all over the country to work in this area. Accordingly, Quy Nhon City will be one of the major centers of the country in software production, participating in digital transformation, digital application, digital economy, and developing products with high valuation."

Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, expressed his hope that the cooperation between VKBIA and TMA Solutions will bring about practical results for the development between both sides, while contributing to the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province in the future./.
