Additionally, some units pledged VND107 billion to the fund.

Responding to the call of the Prime Minister in contributing to accompany the Government, sharing the burden of the State budget and providing opportunities for all people to be vaccinated quickly, on July 28, the Xuan Truong Construction Company donated VND100 billion to the COVID-19 Vaccine Fund.

Not only contributing money to support the Vaccine Fund, on July 28, ABBank's representative said that with the rapidly increasing number of COVID-19 virus infections in Ho Chi Minh City, some frontline hospitals are facing a shortage of medical supplies, and Geleximco and ABBank decided to donate 500 more high-flow oxygen ventilators, made in Vietnam, with a total value of VND25 billion. All of these donated ventilators are expected to be handed over to the Ministry of Health to receive and distribute in Ho Chi Minh City.

This was the second contribution of Geleximco and ABBANK in 2 consecutive months, in order to timely contribute to the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19 patients, as well as share the burden for the medical system. Previously, Geleximco and ABBANK contributed VND20 billion to the Government's Vaccine Fund in June 2021 and many other contributions since the beginning of the pandemic./.
