Southern province invests in raising quality of human resource quality

To satisfy the demand for trained labourers, the southern province of Vinh Long has focused on synchronously organizing the operation of vocational training foundations to increase the quality of human resources over the past 10 years.

In addition, the province has continued to mobilize resources and policies for vocational training for rural labourers and vulnerable labourers, serving the building of new style rural areas and restructuring of agricultural production. The province is expected to give vocational training to 365,500 people, contributing to increasing the rate of trained labourers to 75% by 2030.
Job creation for rural labourers has been paid adequate attention. They are trained in accordance with businesses’ contracts; receive job consultancy and loans for production; and are sent to work abroad.
To make vocational training for rural labourers more effective, the provincial People’s Committee has asked for increasing dissemination of vocational training policies, and consultancy for labourers to choose suitable vocational training industries to suit the local demand and situation./.
