The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), in association with the US Travel Association and Hanoi Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism Center, has promoted “Vietnam - Timeless Charm” tourism brand in Washington DC, the US.

This is the biggest-ever promotion of the administration in the US after 10 years of absence in the market.
The event was attended by 120 delegates from tourism associations, travel businesses and airlines of the two countries.
It offered opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce potential and seek cooperation with North American partners as well as recommend destinations, tourism products and new policies to develop Vietnam tourism.
In 2017, Vietnam greeted 700,000 tourists from North America, with the majority being overseas Vietnamese. This figure is modest in comparison with around 80 million Americans traveling abroad each year. It means the market is still open to Vietnam./.
