Search volume for Ho Chi Minh City’s tourism rose sharply, contributing to helping the city be listed among seven destinations that “are seeing surges in interests from American travelers this fall,” according to Condé Nast Traveler.
The famous American magazine has just published this list based on aggregated data from travel search websites.
According to Condé Nast Traveler, when the crowded summer tourist season is over and the temperatures are milder, autumn is one of the ideal times to have a dream vacation.

The magazine said Vietnam’s biggest city has seen a 46 percent increase in searches this fall compared to 2019, citing data from American online travel agency and metasearch engine Kayak. Meanwhile, the Expedia platform reported a 630% increase in searches for Vietnam’s largest city compared to last fall.
Christie Hudson, head of U.S. public relations for Expedia, said: "The spike in searches for places like Ho Chi Minh City points to travelers being excited to pack their bags for places that were previously harder to visit due to travel restrictions, testing requirements or high airfare prices.”
Fall marks the end of the rainy season as temperatures cool, making it a good time to visit Ho Chi Minh City's landmarks like the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market.
Other destinations making the list included London, Punta Cana, New York, Munich, Albania, and Barbados./.
