The Hanoi Peoples’ Committee has just issued a Plan to organize activities for the 2024 Lunar New Year (Tet) to meet the demand of shopping, entertainment, and welcoming Tet holiday of local people.

The capital directed the Department of Industry and Trade and the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and People’s Committees of districts to organize 83 spring flower market locations, from January 20, 2024 (December 10, 2023 of Lunar calendar) to February 9, 2024 (December 30, 2023 of lunar calendar).
Products on display include: Flowers, plants, ornamental fruits, handicrafts and products serving the Lunar New Year.
At the same time, spring fairs, entertainment activities, safe agricultural product fairs and events to stimulate consumer demand will be held during the period.
Besides, the city will organize numerous events to promote, introduce, and experience traditional Tet values, and the values of Hanoi and other regions; and intensify trade promotion activities, introducing typical, traditional products, handicraft products, traditional craft villages and entertainment activities associated with Tet./.
