The Hanoi Tourism Festival 2024, themed “Thang Long-Hanoi, a Charming Capital” will take place from April 25 to 28 at Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung district.

On April 2, the Hanoi People’s Committee issued a plan to organize the Hanoi Tourism Festival 2024 to honor attractive historical and cultural values, promote tourism promotion activities of the capital, and attract more domestic and international tourists.
The event is among activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the capital’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - 2024).
The festival is an annual tourism event to stimulate travel demand at attractive destinations of Hanoi such as: Hanoi Old Quarter, Duong Lam Ancient Village, Ba Vi National Garden, Bat Trang Pottery Village, Soc Son Tourist Area, Quan Son Lake (Quoc Oai), and Dong Mo Lake (Son Tay).
The festival will have around 150 booths introducing Hanoi’s tourist destinations and heritage, tourism and specialties of other cities and provinces, and those of other countries.
It will also include spaces for the capital city’s craft villages and its typical dishes.
Within the framework of the festival, dragon dancing, art performances and traditional costume shows will be organized, together with a photo exhibition and conference “Hanoi - Cultural and historical tourist destination”.
The opening ceremony will take place on the evening of April 26 with many art performances and attractive games./.
