Budget revenue in Quang Ninh hits over VND6.2 trillion

Budget collection from export and import activities in Quang Ninh Province reached more than VND6.27 trillion in the first quarter of this year, a 60 percent rise year on year, according to the Department of Quang Ninh Customs.

Of this, collection from exported coal amounted to VND489 billion, or 7.8 percent of the total while oil imports contributed more than VND4.07 trillion to the budget collection, or 65 percent of the total.

During the period, collection from other commodities saw sharp increases, such as materials to produce vegetable oil (VND118 billion), wheat (VND40 billion), materials to produce livestock food (VND283 billion) and completely-built auto units (VND315 billion). In addition, revenue from commodities through seaports increased by 143 percent, equivalent to VND1.06 trillion while those via land border reached VND252 billion./.
