Hanoi to have over 80 key industrial products by 2020

Accordingly, the project targets the effective implementation of programs of the city Party Committee, strategies and schemes for industrial development of the city, contributing to fostering rapid and sustainable economic development.

By 2020, the city will have more than 80 key industrial products with production revenue occupying 33-35% of the total industrial production revenue, and average growth rate reaching 9-10% in the 2018-2020 period. Meanwhile, export turnover of key industrial products will make up 12-14% of the city’s total export turnover.

By 2025, more than 120 products of all kinds will be recognized as key industrial ones with production revenue occupying 45-50% of the total. Export turnover of the key industrial products will make up more than 20% of the city’s total export turnover.

The capital will build programs, plans and solutions to support and improve the capacity of enterprises having key industrial products recognized and offer supporting and preferential policies for the enterprises and products in accordance with regulations./.
