Agreement signed for fiber processing of Dinh Vu Polyester Fibre Plant

(CPV) - Petrovietnam Petrochemical and Textile Fiber JSC (PVTex), An Phat Holdings JSC (APH) and An Son Textile Fiber JSC, on July 24th signed an agreement to process DTY fiber of Dinh Vu Polyester Fibre Plant.

In the short term, PVTex and APH will kick off and operate the DTY fiber spinning lines of Filament shop with the aim of operating all of these lines by the end of the fourth quarter of 2018.
At the signing ceremony, Chairman of Board of Directors of An Phat group Pham Anh Duong said the group and its member units will gather all human resources to operate Dinh Vu Polyester Fibre Plant as scheduled in the fourth quarter.
In his speech at the signing ceremony, Chairman of PetroVietnam Tran Sy Thanh said the agreement shows the determination of all parties in realizing the project.
In the near future, many unforeseen difficulties will come from the market and competitors in the fiber industry, but all parties should be patient and determine to accomplish the set target to revive the Dinh Vu Polyester Fibre Plant, Thanh added.
With the potential of the polyester fiber market, cooperation among the parties is expected to contribute to bringing fiber products of PVTex to a new height and affirm the position of Vietnamese polyester fiber./.
