Additional 19,000 rooftop solar power projects installed

So far, the country has had 42,187 rooftop solar power projects put into operation, with a capacity of 925.8 MWp. According to the latest statistics of EVN, total electricity money the group paid to customers was VND374.2 billion. 

Aiming to continue developing rooftop solar power, EVN focused on directing EVN’s corporations to publicize the processes, procedures and ability of releasing capacity of each transformer station. 

The development of rooftop solar power projects is one of the most effective solutions to contribute to solving the demand of electricity for daily life and production; helping to save electricity costs due to not using national grid power, with low operating and maintenance costs. 

Specifically, the development of rooftop solar power does not affect land use planning, and mobilizes and encourages all sectors of the society to invest in electricity supply./.
