Since the beginning of the year, the locality’s goods exports have grown well in many markets such as the USA, Japan, China, the Republic of Korea and Europe. Some of key export products have seen high growth, such as: footwear, wood products, coffee and textile fibers.
Currently, businesses in Dong Nai tend to find domestic raw material supplies to reduce imports, so the trade surplus of this province increased quite sharply.
Also according to the Statistics Office, Dong Nai’s goods are currently exported to more than 170 countries and territories, with the 4 largest export markets accounting for nearly 55% of the total export turnover. Specifically, the largest market is the USA (29.5%), followed by Japan (nearly 10.7%), China (over 9.3%) and the Republic of Korea (about 5.3%).
Currently, businesses in the province receive many orders, so export turnover in March 2024 will likely continue to increase. Export items with good growth in the first quarter of 2024 are footwear, coffee, textiles, cashew nuts, wood products, machinery, equipment and spare parts./.
