Hanoi’s budget revenue rises 6.4% in four months

Total state budget revenue in Hanoi in the first four months of 2024 is estimated at 198.1 trillion VND, equivalent to 48.5% of the year’s estimate and up by 6.4% over the same period last year.

According to the Hanoi Department of Statistics, domestic revenue in the four months posted 189.3 trillion VND, equivalent to 50% of the estimate and up 6.7% over the same period last year.

Revenue from crude oil was 1.6 trillion VND, equivalent to 52.2% of the estimate and up by 33%; revenue from export and import activities is 7.2 trillion VND, equivalent to 26.6% of the estimate and 95.2% of the same period last year.

In addition, revenue from the state-owned enterprise sector was 35.5 trillion VND, equivalent to 50.3% of the year’s estimate and 90.5% of the same period last year; revenue from the foreign-invested enterprise sector was 13.2 trillion VND, 49.4% of the year’s estimate and up by 11.3%; revenue from the non-state enterprise sector was 41.4 trillion VND, 52.7% of the year’s estimate and up by 13.7%; and personal income tax collection was 19.1 trillion VND, equivalent to 46.7% and up by 14.2%.

Over the past four months, local budget expenditures were estimated at 27.6 trillion VND, equivalent to 14.7% of the year’s estimate and up 29.4% over the same period last year.

Of which, regular expenditure was 17.1 trillion VND, equivalent to 29.8% and up by 8.2%; development and investment expenditure was 10.5 trillion VND, equivalent to 13% of the estimate and up by 18.1%./.
