Samsung Vietnam in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Bac Ninh province on June 26 organized a conference to review the implementation of the memorandum of understanding on the project to support Vietnamese businesses in the northern province.

Signed in September 2020, the MoU aims to increase the annual contribution ratio of Vietnamese enterprises operating in Bac Ninh to the industrial production value generated by Samsung through implementing advisory and supplier development programmes.

Samsung also strives to implement a supplier development program in Bac Ninh. To date, there have been 39 Vietnamese businesses, including level 1 suppliers, level 2 suppliers, and consumable material service suppliers in Bac Ninh participating in Samsung’s supply chain.
