Trung Nguyen Legend opens more stores in US and China

In July 2024, Trung Nguyen Legend, Vietnam’s coffee chain, continuously opened nearly 10 new stores in the US and China, promoting Vietnamese coffee culture to the world.

After nearly one year of the first Trung Nguyen Legend franchised coffee shop in the US, on July 18 and 25, 2024, Trung Nguyen Legend Group continued to open two Trung Nguyen Legend Coffee World spaces in San Jose, California. This is the fourth store of the coffee brand in the US.

Both Trung Nguyen Legend Coffee World spaces are located on bustling streets, at 909 Story Road, Unit 100 and 1631 East Capitol Expressway, Unit 107, San Jose City, with numerous cultural and trading activities.

At the same time, in the Chinese market, also in July 2024, the group opened eight new spaces in Shanghai, Suzhou and Zhejiang; raising the number of its coffee shops in China to 18. Trung Nguyen Legend’s goal is to develop more than 100 shops in China as well as expand its stores in Australia, Canada, the US, Japan, Korea, Dubai, France and Southeast Asia in the near future.

In the US, the company’s G7 instant coffee, Trung Nguyen, and Trung Nguyen Legend products are available at supermarket chain Costco as well as across various online sales channels such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay and Say Weee.

In China, the brand’s coffee is handled by 15 importers, 300 secondary distributors, and 30,000 offline sales points. According to the company’s research, the Chinese market has had over 15 million regular users of its G7 coffee.

Trung Nguyen Legend's coffee products have also covered nearly 100 per cent of major retail chains in other countries, such as Costco, Walmart, Carrefour, Auchan (Russia), Woolworth (Australia), Loblaws (Canada) and Lotus (Thailand).

These include the top five most beloved and best-selling coffee brands on online channels in the Republic of Korea, the top 13 most beloved instant coffee brands in China, and the top 20 best-selling instant coffee products on Amazon./.
