According to the article, the great victory of the August Revolution in 1945 is a valuable lesson in many aspects for the next generation, including the lesson on taking advantage of opportunities. Applying the lesson of taking advantage of opportunities in current conditions, the Communist Party of Vietnam has determined that globalization is the inevitable development trend of the world, the best opportunity to bring the country to comprehensive development in the direction of modernity.

In that spirit, Vietnam has established strategic and comprehensive partnerships with the five permanent member countries of the United Nations Security Council; and successfully assumed the role of a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the period of 2020 - 2021 and chair of ASEAN in 2020. These are the best opportunities for Vietnam to demonstrate its role on the international forum.

Currently, Vietnam is successfully carrying out the doi moi process. Vietnam does not only regularly participate in international forums, but also shows its initiative and leading role.

Taking advantage of the opportunity to promote economic integration by highlighting political stability and open foreign relations, Vietnam has constantly promoted international economic integration, making an important contribution to international economic integration and socio-economic development, and improving the country's competitiveness. Currently, Vietnam is a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and is participating in and fully implementing the commitments of the ASEAN Community. The profound international economic integration contributes to making Vietnam an important "link" in the network of economic relations with leading economic regions of the world. In particular, in the past two years, Vietnam has joined the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

The article concludes that Vietnam's future development path has many opportunities and also many difficulties and challenges. However, the Vietnamese people always believe that the lesson of taking advantage of the August Revolution is always applied in each period of Vietnam's international integration./.
