Along with the hat dance performance, unique Vietnamese handicraft products such as bamboo curtain paintings, lacquered coconut bowls, pearl coconut plates, brocade bags and silk scarves were also introduced to international friends. This year's Vietnam Embassy booth was also located right next to the main stage, which was one of the most attractive spots for visitors to the Fair.
Previously, the Vietnamese Embassy donated a number of gifts including handmade items such as trays, plates, pearl mosaic jars and hand-embroidered ties, supporting the lucky draw program at the Fair. The lucky guests who received the gift products returned to the booth to express their love and appreciation for the thoughtfulness of Vietnamese people.
The Fair is an important annual event organized by the Women's Diplomacy Club (WDC) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, along with the Embassies and Consulates General of host countries, and small and medium enterprises of Mongolia. It is held around mid-September every year to raise and support the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups in Mongolian society such as poor, orphaned, and disabled children at Monglogian care and protection establishments and centers.
According to the Organizing Committee, since the Club was founded in 1998, the "Charity Fair" event has been held for the 23rd time (interrupted for 2 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and has implemented more than 100 projects supporting vulnerable groups with donated money./.
