The Red Cross
in Binh Lieu on August 14 started to build a charitable house for five sisters of Thi Mui in Na Nhai village, Vo Ngai commune, Binh Lieu district, Quang Ninh province.

They are facing difficult circumstances due to having lost both their parents.

The house has an area of 50 square meters and is built with the criteria of a good foundation, hard ground and a strong roof. The project includes house, kitchen, toilets and bathroom. The expenditure for the construction of the house has been contributed by organizations inside and outside district, of which the provincial Red Cross supports VND25 million, Quang Ninh newspaper supports VND30 million and Tieu Giao Pagoda supports VND20 million.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, the district youth union will mobilize young people, the communal people’s committee and local people to quickly complete the building and put it into use.

This is a practical work to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the Vietnam Red Cross (November 23, 1955 – November 23, 2013)./.
