Quang Ninh province given VND10 billion for natural disaster mitigation

The northern province of Quang Ninh is among 10 provinces and cities across the country that have received assistance from the Government to overcome the consequences of the second and third storms of the year.

Apart from VND10 billion in cash, Quang Ninh province has been provided VND8 billion in support for seeds, animals and breeding fisheries to resume production in storm affected areas.

The other 9 provinces and cities, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Nghe An, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Hai Phong and Ca Mau, have been assisted with VND45 billion to buy seeds and breeding animals and fisheries for restarting production after storms.

Chairpersons of these provincial and city People’s Committee will be responsible for managing, distributing and wisely using the capital to promptly overcome the consequences of the natural disasters and stabilize production./.
