Asian-European Youth Delegation visit people’s houses in Quang Ninh province

Continuing its activities on environmental protection in Dong Trieu district, the northern province of Quang Ninh, the Asian-European Youth Delegation held a meeting to review half of the project and carried out experience activities in local people’s houses.

During three days in Dong Trieu district, the delegation determined several basic issues on environment at the locality, such as people’s awareness of environment and problems about waste water in residential areas and environmental pollution in industrial production. The delegation introduced a model on environmental protection in the community and proposed solutions to environmental protection at the locality.

Making field trips to local people’s house, the delegation prepared recycling equipment to introduce to local people in An Sinh and Binh Khe communes. The delegation also made field trips to view daily production activities of local people./.
