Breeding animals and feed granted to poor households in Cam Pha City

(CPV) - The armed forces and Women’s Union in Cam Pha City on August 29th  handed over breeding animals and feed to seven poor households in the three communes of Cong Hoa, Cam Hai and Duong Huy.

The recipients include Tu Thi Be and To Thi Vuong in Cong Hoa commune; Tu Thi Ngoc and Nguyen Thi Dong in Cam Hai commune; and Tong Thi Phuong, Le Thi Giot and Tran Thi Tuc in Duong Huy commune.

The households were given 200 chickens, 23 pigs and 600kg of feed worth VND50 million, of which the armed forces supported VND45 million and the remaining is supported by the women’s union.

In an effort to help the recipients help themselves, the armed forces and the women’s union gave breeding animals and feed to the poor households to encourage the families to develop production to have stable income to escape poverty sustainably./.
