Northern province’s district plants over 1,700 hectares of concentrated forests

To reach forestation plans for 2013, Tien Yen district, the northern province of Quang Ninh has prepared seeds for planting forests.

Since the beginning of the year, the district has planted 1,763 hectares of forests, mainly glue and pine trees, of which agencies of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development have planted 1,440 hectares, and the district’s Tien Yen forestry limited company has planted 318 hectares.

According to authorised agencies, the climate is appropriate for forestation. Besides, forest management and protection have been well carried out, with no fire forests occurring since the beginning of the year./.
