Over 160 units of blood collected in northern district

In the northern province of Quang Ninh, the Tien Yen district steering committee on blood donation has worked with the provincial general hospital to hold a voluntary blood donation day.

The event has attracted nearly 300 cadres, workers, officials and representatives from forces, agencies and units across the district to donate blood, resulting in the collection of 163 units of blood to supplement the blood bank to rescue people.

According to the district steering committee on blood donation, there is a higher number of blood donors this year compared to the same period last year, and blood donation has become a beautiful action of great humanity in the district./.
