Northern province gives presents to over 300 elderly people

The People’s Committee of the northern province of Quang Ninh issued a decision on wishing longevity and giving presents to elderly people to mark the International Day of Older Persons (October 1).

Accordingly, the province will give presents to 324 elderly people who are at 90, 95 or 100 years old, and all those who are above 100 years old.

Under the decision, VND400,000 in presents and cash will be given to those 90 and 95 years old; VND500,000 and 5 metres of silk to those 100 years old; and VND500,000 given to those from 101 years old./.
