Vietnam will spare no effort to build a common borderline of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation and development with Cambodia, said PM Nguyen Tan Dung who also stressed that the completion of border demarcation and landmark planting is a practical contribution to the flourishing relationship between the two countries.

Hosting a reception given to Cambodia’s Senior Minister Var Kim Hong on Thursday, PM Nguyen Tan Dung hailed the positive results of the recent meeting of the Vietnam-Cambodia Joint Committee for Border Demarcation and Landmark Planting in which the guest functions as the Chair.

“Border demarcation and landmark planting must be carried out on reasonable and equal basis in the legitimate interests of each party,” emphasized PM Dung.

He pledged that Vietnam will spare no effort to build a common borderline of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation and development with Cambodia because the completion of border demarcation and landmark planting is a practical contribution to the flourishing relationship between the two countries.

Both the host and the guest were convinced that, with great efforts from both sides, the work will be finished on schedule by 2012 as agreed by senior leaders.
