Quang Ninh plans tribute to wounded soldiers and martyrs

Quang Ninh province will mark the Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs (July 27) with giving beneficiaries presents worth a total of VND6 billion.

The People’s Committee of the northern province has decided to provide cash gifts of VND600,000 each to: Heroic Mothers (those have lost children and spouses in the nation’s wars for liberation) who are receiving a monthly allowance; martyrs’ relatives; wounded soldiers who’ve lost more than 80% of their working ability; revolutionaries who’ve lost more than 80% of their working ability because of exposure to toxic chemicals; heroes from the armed forces; and labour heroes in resistance wars receiving a monthly allowance.
Cash gifts worth VND300,000 each will be granted to: wounded soldiers who have lost below 80% of their working ability; wounded soldiers who are beneficiaries of work disability policies; representatives of families maintaining martyrs’ memorials; and revolutionaries activists who were exposed to toxic chemicals and lost below 80% of their working ability.
The People’s Committee will also visit and give presentsVND5 million each to four centres that care for seriously wounded soldiers./.
